One night, moved by a mysterious force, I go over the cliff. The engine cut, I hear the breathing of Krabi. These are in fact only the clicking of wavelets caressing reefs, slight creaking of an old rubber, the whispering of frangipani petals falling on the ground, the murmurs of the flora and fauna asleep. Yet these scattered sounds merge and blend into a whole, the vital breath of Krabi.
